The Bracelet that Started it All ...

Sometimes things happen that you never expected. I started making bracelets, first to add some bling to my attire when I attended my son's soccer games. In my opinion, fan wear is typically not so fashionable, although, in the moment it is... I guess.
I wanted something unique and supportive of the team and especially (of course) of my son. I'm a mom after all, I'm at the game because he's on the team, however, I do indeed support the team and every player on the team and the moms and dads. I made a bracelet out of team colors and my son's number plus a soccer ball charm. I added a hockey charm too since he also plays hockey ... why not?
I discovered I loved making bracelets, and, there's no rule that says you can only wear one. So I made more and more and I wore them all the the game!
Then something happened.
At the game, as I chatted with other moms, I slipped a bracelet off my arm and gave it to her. She smiled and put it on. This happened again and again and again. Soon, I was busy making bracelets with the intention of giving them away, and it brought me joy.
In the course of time, my son grew up and his competitive games came to an end. I no longer had motivation to make dozens of bracelets... until one evening.
I put on some bracelets I had made for myself and met a long time friend for dinner. At the end of dinner while we were parting... I took hold of her hand and slipped on one of my bracelets. She loved it. I loved it that she loved it! She is quite picky and loves high quality fashion too.
Plus, she owns Bassimo Beach Cafe in Tampa Bay, Florida. She's selling my bracelets in her cafe. When you're there, stop in, they were voted #7 Top 100 Restaurant in Tampa Bay by Yelp and mentioned in the Chicago Veganista #1 Restaurant - A Guide to eating vegan in Clearwater Beach.
While people order a delicious organic latté, smoothie or meal they can check out beautiful jewelry and leave with a satisfied stomach and lasting memory with a reminder on their arm, around their neck or in their ears. Shine on I say!
